Brett Tanaka

Joined Team: October 2010

Specialties: Deep Tissue, Injury Related Treatments

Certified Modalities: Hot Stone Therapy, Foot Scrub, Face Massage

Brett went to Mount Royal when it was still a college and not a university and graduated in 2008. He has been working as an RMT for 11 years, with 10 of those years being spent at Massage Heights and working at a chiropractor’s office. Brett went into massage therapy because he is more of a one-on-one type person and couldn’t see himself working at an office staring at a computer screen every day. He prefers to do therapeutic type massages that help treat people with certain issues/injuries that are affecting them.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his dog, watching movies and going around to food trucks when the weather is nice to try different foods.

Her goal for every client is to alleviate tension and pain, increase mobility and help generate healing and relaxation. Every treatment is tailored to the client’s specific needs, while educating them on the benefits of making massage therapy a part of their lifestyle and through encouraging consistent selfcare.
